The Twitch Machine is a personal project in digging up resources of articles and strength dealing with, coping with, helping with addictions and recovery. Health and identity issues go hand in hand with the recovery process and will be mingled in as I find it interesting to me. Hopefully someone else can find it helpful for them too.

I am not a professional. No one pays me. I'm not putting ads up. I'm just worried about myself and my loved ones, even those I haven't met yet. If I write about something, it's because I want to, not because anyone paid me to.

Again, I'm not a professional. If you think you need one, you'd probably be surprised at how many free resources there are for people struggling with addictions and mental health in every city. In Toronto, CAMH has an emergency room on Spadina, just north of College.
